Alan F. "Fritz" Kah 84, of Wapakoneta died at 3:53 P.M. July 12, 2011 at St. Rita's Medical Center, Lima.
He was born March 25, 1927 in Wapakoneta to Adrian C. and Ethel (Pfenning) Kah who preceded him death. On October 7, 1950 he married H. Yvonne Littman who survives in Wapakoneta.
He is also survived by three children; Steven (Mary) Kah, Ellen (Ken) Nord, and Eric (Pam) Kah, two granddaughters Jenny Gutierrez and Linda (John) Meyer, two sisters Marcia Hays and Kathryn Dunnavant.
Mr. Kah was a 1945 graduate of Blume High School. He served a short time in the U.S. Army at the end of WWII. He was a lifelong farmer and member of St. Paul U.C.C. in Wapakoneta. He was also a member of the Moulton Gun Club. He enjoyed antique tractors and especially enjoyed genealogy.
Funeral services are scheduled to begin at 3 P.M. on Saturday at Schlosser Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Wapakoneta. Dr. Alex Gondola will be officiating. A private family burial will follow the service at Greenlawn Cemetery, Wapakoneta. Friends may call from 1 P.M. until the time of the service.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be directed to the Auglaize County Crippled Children and Adults or to the donor's choice.
